FXForm2 sampler

We are pleased to announce that we provide now some FXForm2 samples using the FXSampler.

These samples were designed to help you using FXForm2 and to discover all of its features. FXForm2 can be highly customized to generate most of the forms you need; this sampler should help you to understand which features you need and how to configure your form.

We have covered some frequent cases we use here at dooApp, but feel free to ask for more examples!

How to test it?

• Clone the FXForm2 repo
• Run mvn exec:java in the samples directory
• Enjoy

Dude, Where is my form?

Building UI forms for editing model objects is a repetitive task. That’s why we have started a small project called FXForm to provide automatic form generation for JavaFX objects. The goal of this library is to easily create customizable forms for any JavaFX object.

A small example might be more talkative. Let’s imagine you have the following model class:

and you need a form to edit an instance of this class. FXForm allows you to generate this form with a few lines of code:
